About Me

Hi, I'm Amanda.

Love Notes From Within was created because I wanted a place where I could fuse my passions and share them in a way that was personally meaningful. As a trauma-informed, health, & creativity community, my hope is that this becomes a safe space for anyone looking to trust themselves more. I spent many years not trusting myself, because I had been taught my anxiety was a problem and that it was lying to me. I knew there was more to this part of myself and that there had to be a more beautiful purpose. That is why I set out to researching this specifically, personally, professionally, and artistically.

I hold a Masters in Humanistic Psychology and am currently in pursuit of a Ph.D. in Humanistic Psychology, which focuses on wholeness, human potential, and mind-body-spirit integration. Specializing in Creativity Studies, my research has been specifically focused on the connection between anxiety, authenticity, and creativity. I define creativity as authentic expression, and believe we have the great potential to turn our personal pain into our most creative, intuitive guides, empowering us to live our most aligned, fulfilled lives we were meant to live.

My journey of self-trust has included many areas of self-discovery. I started on my journey with integrative nutrition and began reconnecting with myself by transforming my relationship with food and became certified in health coaching. I am still on this journey of personal discovery each and every day. I then expanded my training to become a trauma-informed coach, allowing me to strengthen my ability to integrate mind, body, spirit, and self-trust into my practice.

As an artist, I have spent years training in acting and discovering my own process. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Creative Writing, and am currently revising my first novel. Exploring creativity in my graduate studies has allowed me to expand, understand, and become more effective in my artistic endeavors in ways I never would have thought. Just as in the holistic health and humanistic psychological spaces, I truly believe artistic creativity has so much to do with trusting yourself.

I have many love notes for you, but the most important ones are the ones from within yourself. For me, I learned my anxiety was trying to guide me to my most beautiful life all along. I hope here you will mine your unique beauty as you become intimate with your own intuition.

I am so excited to support you on your journey to self-trust.

Love always,

Amanda Beck, MA, INHC
